La mayoría de éstos asteroides suelen tener pocas observaciones, lo que se traduce en órbitas con un elevado grado de incertidumbre. Por ello, es recomendable obtener las efemérides actualizadas en:

Especial atención merece el acercamiento de 4179 Toutatis. Llegará a ser visible con prismáticos, oportunidad única para ver el cuerpo del Sistema Solar con el movimiento propio más caótico conocido.
