El lunes 12 de febrero de 2001, la nave espacial NEAR aterrizó en el asteroide EROS, trasmitiendo 69 imagenes durante el aterrizaje. Aqui podemos ver cuatro tomas a 1150m, 700m, 250m y 120m. (izquierda a derecha y de arriba a abajo).
